CSW Letter of Support

 

On August 1, 2012, the Christian Solidarity Worldwide * (CSW) organization wrote a letter to Wu’s Chinese followers to express their support :

To the followers of Buddhist Zen Master Shi Xingwu/Wu Zeheng,

 

Christian Solidary Worldwide would like to express our solidarity with the followers and students of Wu Zeheng, also known as Buddhist Zen Master Shi Xingwu. We believe in freedom of religion and belief for people of all faiths, and we are deeply saddened to hear of te restrictions and challenges facing the peacful followers of Wu Zeheng.

 

As an organization advocating for religious freedom for people around the world, we stand with Wu Zeheng and his follwoers in their suffering. We support their right to peacefully observe and practise their faith in China. Its our sincere hope and prayer that this right will be upheld and respected by the Chinese authorities.

 

We hope that through this message, We Zeheng and his followers will draw comfort and strength from the knowledge that they are not alone, and that Christian Solidary Worldwide, together with many supporters around the world, remebers them. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
